Introduction to Event Management

After completing this course, students will be able to understand the fundamentals of event management—understand the key principles, formats, and models of event organization; navigate stakeholder interactions—know who is involved in event organization, how to interact with clients, partners, and the media; and understand the team-building process—what roles exist within the organizing committee, and how teamwork is organized.

Conference and Event Planning

After completing this course, students will be able to understand the basics of event organization—understand what an event and conference are, their types, goals, and classifications. They will also be able to select appropriate services for preparation—navigate tools for planning, team management, ticket sales, and organizing online events. They will also understand the key stages of planning—from defining goals and audiences to developing a concept, selecting a team, and promoting the event.

The future of tourism

Upon completion of this course, students will become familiar with different types of tourism, some traditional and others more radical, learn what is needed to develop tourism destinations that are more resilient and capable of recovery, and explore how systems approaches can help manage threats and effectively seize emerging opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management

CRM, or customer relationship management, is a tool that helps companies effectively interact with customers and build long-term relationships.

What accreditation does SIIL have?

The Institute has been included in the register of higher education institutions of the Canton of Vaud, which allows it to issue diplomas apostilled by the Municipality of Lausanne. In addition, SIIL has successfully undergone an external quality assessment of its educational services by the Swiss agency EDUQUA and has received a 5-star rating in the QS Stars rating system. SIIL is also approved as a member institution of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Currently, SIIL is undergoing institutional accreditation with the ENQA-recognized accreditation agency IAAR, as well as program accreditation with the ENQA-recognized agency AQUIN, both based on the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

Why are the prices listed in euros?

SIIL's tuition fees are listed in euros, even though Swiss francs are used in Switzerland, as our institute attracts students from all over the world. The euro was chosen as the primary tuition currency due to its widespread availability and convenience for international students. This simplifies the payment process for those living in the European Union or other regions where exchanging Swiss francs may be difficult. By offering euro payments, SIIL aims to make financial transactions simpler and more accessible for its students, regardless of their location. We hope this decision will make the payment process easier and more convenient for all students.
