  SIIL students are never left alone with e-learning issues if they encounter them. After enrollment, they can contact their academic assistant with any questions regarding any aspect of their studies or academic journey via chat, accessible from their personal account on the e-learning platform my.siil.ch.

  An Academic Assistant is a one-stop support service that handles the full range of issues SIIL students may encounter during their studies. Its main function is to process student requests and connect them with the appropriate instructors and departments.
  
  Another important feature of the Academic Assistant is its personal approach: each assistant is a real person who supports you from the very beginning of your program through to its completion.

  When it comes to career advancement, SIIL students have several solutions at their disposal that they can take advantage of.

  First, every SIIL student takes a course or seminar fully dedicated to developing the skills that any professional may need when entering the job market — from general interview preparation to job search techniques. The skills acquired in these courses significantly increase a candidate’s chances of being hired.

  For those seeking a more personalized framework for career development, SIIL offers a dedicated online career counselor. This is an excellent opportunity to define your personal career goals, discuss employment issues, or consider a freelance career with the assistance and ongoing support of a faculty member actively researching the latest labor market trends. Every SIIL student can schedule an appointment with a career counselor online. Simply notify your academic assistant of your interest and the preferred date and time.

Students with learning disabilities

  At SIIL, we continually improve the quality of our educational materials and ensure that our programs are accessible to everyone. Of course, the e-learning concept, which SIIL actively pursues, transcends many boundaries. To take this further, we carefully select the technologies that will be used on the SIIL e-learning platform. For example, SIIL's educational programs are accessible through popular internet browsers, which integrate features such as text-to-speech, zoom, voice recognition, and many others designed for users with special needs. The entire platform interface and multimedia educational materials (for those who prefer viewing and listening to reading) are easy to use, even with limited internet access.

  SIIL encourages applicants and students to report any learning difficulties or support they may require as early as possible. In some exceptional cases, this can be done at any time during their studies. Students who begin their studies without notifying their faculty risk having specific adjustments and support provided late. There are certain cases where an applicant/student may be unwilling to disclose their medical condition, but we can only provide reasonable and best-quality adjustments if we know in advance that they are needed. All support arranged by SIIL is completely confidential and remains between academic staff and the student.

Alumni Network

  Completing a program at SIIL doesn't mean saying goodbye to the institute and other students. Staying in touch is a powerful networking tool that SIIL promotes among its alumni. Using their personal account, accessible ad initim after program completion, SIIL alumni can connect with their peers and current students, and even receive contact from them if they wish.

Educational materials

  While following their curriculum, SIIL students have access to online learning resources and the SIIL e-learning library. There's no need to visit the library or browse the internet to find the necessary reading material. Books, textbooks, articles, presentations, and other educational materials are directly integrated into the program's curriculum and can be accessed from the student's personal account on the e-learning platform.
