Business Research Methodology and Design

This course introduces doctoral students to the methodological foundations of research in management. It covers formulating research questions, selecting qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, as well as designing the structure and framework of the future doctoral dissertation.

Advanced Strategic Management Concepts

Study of modern corporate governance models, organizational behavior, and crisis management methods. The course focuses on analyzing complex organizational structures, managing digital transformation, and implementing business model innovations.

Economic Analysis and Decision Making

Development of advanced approaches to forecasting business performance, assessing risk, and optimizing assets under high market uncertainty. The course includes applied econometrics and statistical tools for data analysis.

Research Practice and Dissertation

A practical block of the program dedicated to conducting independent research under the guidance of an academic tutor. The module culminates in the preparation and defense of an original scientific-practical dissertation.

Do I need to travel to Switzerland to defend my doctoral dissertation?

The DBA program is designed for convenient online delivery. All stages of study, including intermediate assessments, regular consultations with your research advisor, and pre-defense, take place online. The final defense of your dissertation can also be conducted remotely, so personal attendance in Switzerland is not mandatory.

What are the requirements for the dissertation topic in the DBA program?

A DBA doctoral dissertation is strictly applied. The topic must be aimed at solving a real, practically significant problem in management, marketing, or business development. You can choose a research topic directly related to the operations of your own company to implement the findings in practice.

What diploma will I receive upon completing the doctoral program?

Upon successful completion of the curriculum and defense of your dissertation, you will be awarded the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. You will receive an official English-language diploma of the established pattern from the Swiss International Institute Lausanne (SIIL), confirming your highest qualification in business administration. Upon request, a Swiss apostille can be affixed to the diploma.
