Certification and accreditation

In 2024, Swiss International Institute Lausanne SIIL successfully passed an independent external evaluation and received primary institutional accreditation from the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating IAAR for a period of one year. IAAR is a recognized European agency, a member of ENQA, and registered in the official EQAR registry.

This important milestone officially confirmed the compliance of SIIL educational standards and distance learning platform with the strict European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance, ESG.

Based on the demonstration of stable program development and confirmation of a high level of educational services, in April 2025, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating IAAR extended the institutional accreditation of SIIL for a full three-year term. Decision number 95 dated April 30, 2025, confirms the successful completion of all quality control stages.

This accreditation guarantees high quality of teaching and opens up wide international academic and career prospects for the institute graduates worldwide.

SIIL successfully completed a comprehensive external evaluation by Swiss experts and received the EduQua quality label for educational services under the eduQua 2012 standard for a period of three years. The audit was conducted by a certified Swiss agency.

The EduQua quality label is the primary Swiss national standard of compliance for institutions specializing in adult learning and continuing professional education.

Meeting the most current Swiss requirements, SIIL successfully completed certification under the new, updated eduQua 2021 quality standard for a period of three years until June 2028. The evaluation procedure was conducted by the reputable Swiss certification body ProCert.

Important note: Continuous compliance with the high educational criteria and the validity of this certificate are confirmed by passing an obligatory annual intermediate audit by the Swiss quality control authorities.

Swiss International Institute Lausanne SIIL received the highest quality rating of Five Stars in the Online Learning category by the prestigious international university audit and evaluation system QS Intelligence Unit.

This audit evaluates key performance indicators of the educational institution, including the quality of teaching, the level of student engagement, and the use of innovative educational technologies.

In the Online MBA category of the global ranking, SIIL entered the Top 100 and took 31st place among higher education institutions of Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

SIIL is included in the QS World University Rankings, published annually by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds. This is one of the three most prestigious and recognized higher education rankings in the world.
