SIIL is rated “5 stars” by QS Stars
What is QS Stars?
QS Stars is a ranking system that gives a detailed overview of universities and evaluates them according to important performance criteria according to international standards.
Examples of criteria:
- academic development,
- learning environment,
- employment opportunities for graduates,
- social responsibility,
- inclusiveness.

In the QS Stars methodology, universities are evaluated on dozens of indicators in at least eight categories. After analysis, universities are awarded an overall score, which ranges from 0 to 5+ stars depending on the number of points received.
What it’s for?
The QS Stars rating system:
- allows universities to identify strengths and weaknesses. It is needed to improve the quality of educational services;
- helps applicants to choose the best educational institution according to the criteria that are important to them.
SIIL’s QS Stars score
Based on a thorough and independent data collection and performance analysis, the QS Analytical department has awarded Swiss International Institute Lausanne five stars in the Online Learning category and awarded the QS Stars certificate.
This confirms that SIIL provides all the conditions for a comfortable and high-quality online learning experience for its students.
